The Colby-Sawyer Academic Scholarship & Merit Award
You are automatically considered for scholarships and awards ranging up to $8,000 per year when you submit your application for admission to Colby-Sawyer.
The endowment fund
You can invest in your future by investing in an endowed fund made possible by generous individuals who believe in the Colby-Sawyer education. The Financial Aid Office will award student aid at its discretion, which may be exchanged for previously awarded merit and general grant funds. Generally, the overall amount of aid a student receives will not change.
Scholarships outside of academia
A scholarship that is not awarded by a federal or state agency or college, such as one offered by a private company, foundation, or philanthropist, is considered an outside An award. You must send a copy of the award letter or certificate to the Financial Aid Office if you receive such a scholarship.
Scholarships from outside sources can supplement unmet needs and reduce self-help aid such as federal work study or loans if necessary. The reduction of college need-based aid may occur in rare cases when outside scholarships exceed unmet need and self-help aid.
